Its improved aerodynamic design hugs the floor for superior pickup on all floor types - the strongest suction available in a robot vacuum. The unique square front and low profile design keeps it close to corners and walls for maximum pick-up of dirt, dust, debris and pet hair - all without sacrificing suction power! It automatically moves from one floor type to another, and even manages rugs with fringe. The Neato XV Signature Pro comes with two high-performance filters, which makes it a great choice for anyone with allergies or who is concerned about dust. The versatile brush system offers the best performance on all floor types. The Neato Robotic Vacuum, 945-0080 blade brush is great for carpeted floors, and the combo (blade and bristle) brush is especially quiet on hard floors and effectively picks up debris and pet hair from all floor types.

Unit works as advertised. Takes a few days to get to know the house. Afterwards it comes out on schedule and always finds it way back home.

Generally leaving things on the floor is okay, it will move around them. Watch out for lamp cords, extension cords, shoelaces etc.

Overall it works great, keeps the floor clean and we have also noticed that the A/C filters are last much longer.

It's insanely powerful and great because i schedule it at 4:30 every day to run. It keeps my home clean since i have three cats, it can get pretty hairy. Of course, you'll still have to do your routine cleanings, but this is a great companion in the between-cleaning battle.

    You'll love this robot!

I was really excited to receive this robotic vacuum. I have a Golden Retriever/Labrador mix dog that sheds a lot. I waited a couple of days to vacuum so I could see how well it do with the furniture and maneuvering the corners. Even though it looked as if it was hitting the corner it did not pick up the dog hair. I also had an issue with how long the battery lasted or more specifically didn't last. For the money, I did not feel like it was a good purchase.

The first night I got it, I let it charge for a bit and then set it loose in our family room. In twenty minutes the room was clean and Neato was ready for a charge and an empty bin. I have used it several times and really like it. Is it perfect or like a canister vacuum- no. But on wood or tile floors, it is close.

It has done a great job on carpet, laminate and tile in our house. I have back problems and the Neato has freed my husband from having to do the vacuuming.

I love this vacuum. I had to work on the location for the docking statation, but I once I found the perfect spot, it works great! I have all floor types and it works great on them all. When I first bought it, it took a few times for the battery to full work. The first couple of times it only ran for a few minutes. Now it runs for 90 minutes without needing to recharge.

It is easy to program, and works great. I have darker laminate/Tile floors and a big white American Bulldog. I would have to do my floors ever few days and still when the light hit them you could see the hair. Now I run my Neato in the middle of the nights and wake .up with clean floors everyday. I Love it!

It may work in a square home with little furniture but didn't work well in our home at all. I never got to most of our home. Pretty random pattern. Kept getting bogged down on thick carpet within a few seconds and has to return to charge.

I am however impressed with results for the hours it worked so i am willing to try it again and hope that this was just a bad luck case.

This Neato is pretty awesome so far. I've only had it for three weeks and it's worked out great for me every time I used it. Here are the Pros:

Very simple to set up and set schedules.

Great suction; when you clean the bin you'll see all kinds of stuff that you didn't think was on your floor. Some people say that the bin is small and it technically is but it's nothing serious. After it goes back to recharge I just empty the bin out and clean the filter (3-4 mins tops).

Navigation is very good with the exception of a few times it got stuck or went back to the same spots it just cleaned but it only happened twice. I suggest following it around the first time to see where it gets caught up so you can adjust where needed. My Neato got stuck under a ride on car and couldnt get out so I put something in front of it to block it off. The Neato also pushed my little girls high chair around and got stuck when it went over one of the legs so now I just move that before I start. It also got stuck behind my couch on some power cords so I make sure they're picked up also. Thats about it.

Runtime so far is great. The first few times I used it made me upset because it lasted anywhere between 15-25 mins between recharges and as I was about to return it, I googled the site for short battery life. Apparently you have to configure it first to "let" it know that it has a new battery even though it's brand new. After that I was averaging around 90 mins.

It's sort of quiet-not loud like a regular vacuum cleaner but loud enough for you to know it's running if you're in another room and know when it has stopped.

    Cons-
Price-Compared to iRoomba it's a bargain but still pricey

Navigation-The navigation is great but for some reason it has skipped my Kitchen once or twice which I dont know why.

Magnetic Barriers-They work but, I'd rather have two short ones or two long ones versus only one so I may have to purchase another one.

It works great so far. I will update this in about a month

I am still extremely happy with my purchase. Working great, has gotten more efficient and seldom has to recharge for the main living area cleaning. I bought replacement filters from Crucial Vacuum for a lot less money and they seem to work just as well as originals. I use it probably 5 times a week and trust it to do the job without supervision. This is SO great......

The Neato in our home is nicknamed "Autumn" and is very reliable and works excellent. I have hard floors, wall to wall carpets and throw rugs. Autumn navigates our home very well. The charge last for the full hour and the carpets, floors and rugs all look beautiful at the end of her 3 run cycles per day. I love my Neato and would buy another in a heartbeat.

I have had my Neato for 1 year and 10 months with 3 dogs and a cat. It works great! I have a large house (3000 sq ft), and it will take 3 charges to complete. I do have to use my regular vacuum to get into tight edges and under my heaters, but other than that it works wonderful! I have an old antique china cabinet that I was nervous about it banging into, but it senses where things are and slows down to where it gets very very close, but does not touch the legs. Also, I have stairs and it does sense where the stairs are and turns away, but if you do not keep the sensors clean, it will fall over (happened to me twice in a split level house), but it still works as good as when I first boughtRead More I have had my Neato for 1 year and 10 months with 3 dogs and a cat. I have 2 dogs and amazed how great this works on hard surfaces. Carpets are just ok but expected that with being so small. It would be nice having a larger dirt basket as it stops and signals when full but I guess it can only be so big. When the unit needs a charge it goes back to station and resumes when recharged.

Does the bare floor fine. On carpet it continually says its brush is stuck, I have to lift it slightly in front and it only runs for about 5 minutes on carpet before it has to charge again, then does another 5 minutes and charges again. The trash bin is also small. I have had Irobots in the past that worked much better then this.

Mine has been working great! Out of the box it was charged and ready to go. I found a good home location for it, pushed the start button and off it went. I have tile, throw and area rugs, as well as average nap bedroom carpet--it seems happy with everything, except 2 throw rugs that are quite plush which bogged it down. Before the first usage I vacuumed the entire house just to see how much it would pick up. The dust bin was 1/2 full at the recharge break--I dumped the bin and vacuumed the filter off. It has to recharge once during cleaning my average kitchen, dining and living great room space when it is about 3/4 finished. It found it's way back to charge just fine, came out again and went back where it left off, finished and went back to home. I used it to *spot clean* an area in the kitchen and that function worked fine. It seemed to get more efficient in it's cleaning paths with repeated use, just as the company said it would. It seems to clean right up to the edges of everything, doesn't bang into things--it's actually quite gentle and very *purposeful* in movement (i can see why people name them--haven't gone there yet :). Bottom line.... I LUV it. I have 3 dogs, need i say more? It's great that I can start it up and do other housework. People talk about it being loud, I haven't found it to be a problem, it is a vacuum cleaner after all, it's quieter by far than my canister. I plan to use it at least every other day. I think that is the best way to use it = often. I am already seeing an improvement in dust/dander/hair levels. Yes, I still will vacuum the old fashioned way say once a week, but for me it seems to be improving air quality, and I can't set aside the time to vac manually every day. Allergy sufferers check this machine out! I purchased an extended warranty because of reviews, just in case. But so far---I am super glad I made the purchase and if it holds up--it will be worth every penny!Read Less

Just thought I would check in after several months of usage. Still working great! I have been using it probably 4 times a week minimum. Saves me time for other chores while its working. I really don't see it being less effective a than traditional vacuuming. I still get out the canister for the wall to wall carpets now and again, but mostly its job is to clean Neato's filter! Sooo happy I bought it. I found replacement filters at Crucial Vac which work fine and make it *cheaper to keep*. A big WooHoo! for Neato :)

I read many reviews regarding this vac, most mentioned picking up pet hair but I could not find any comments about kitty litter. Felix is great on pet hair and great on kitty litter on our hard wood floors. In the room with two litter boxes he does okay but he doesn't get all the litter up off the indoor/outdoor carpet. I'm okay with that since he makes one pass and when I vacuum with my Oreck I attack from all directions to pick up the litter. Felix is quieter than our Oreck so he does not freak out our dog or our four cats. I totally recommend this vacuum.

The vacuum come with a roll strip about 6 feet long. if can be cut to length if need be. Lay this strip on the floor and the vacuum will not cross it.
